Believe me this wouldn’t have happened in my yard. I would have sprayed a whole can of spider killer on it, if that didn’t work then I would have taken a baseball bat to the thing.

Well now that Halloween is over, it is time to take the decorations down 
I had only bought 8 bags of candy and we still have tons left over. I normally start out giving the kids 2 pieces of candy just to make sure I have enough to go around but as 7pm approaches I always have tons left over. I am sure we had 70+ kids, there are more kids in our subdivision than there are adults. The last trick or treater came around 8 and it was a toddler looking real tired. I usually take the kids around 4 blocks and then back to the house we go. We are now in November and the week before Thanksgiving I always have all my Christmas decorations up, I love to have my house look festive during Thanksgiving, the house is all lit up and it just has the Holiday feeling to it. Not sure about this year. There is tons to appreciate but it’s those things that I have lost that I am dwelling on. I am not sure if I will be in the mood to decorate, it normally takes me a whole week to spread the holiday spirit around the house and I just don’t know if I will have it in me. I have already told the kids that because a lot of stores are closing down, Santa will not have enough supplies to make toys, so there will be less this year. I know that Christmas is not about gifts, and that is what I am trying to get my kids to understand, but remember they are still kids, and kids want toys. As they get older I am sure they will be wiser about Christmas but until then………………. it’s rough. So off I go to get my spooks back in their rubber maid containers and say good-bye to them until next year.
And everyone wonders why I am always stressed out. I never know when my next beating will take place.
Just a few weeks ago I was putting over $60.00 in gas into the van, this morning I filled her up at $37.50. $37.50!! I was so shocked to see that. I knew the prices were coming down but honestly to me it could come down some more, but I won’t get greedy, I am happy to be filling up for less than $40.00. I can now but that extra money towards a bill. Thank GOD it’s Friday! Payday for the King, and Halloween for the kids. It’s going to be a great day!
