Bill Proposed to Lower Drinking Age to 18
Friday, February 29th, 2008I hear about this on the radio this morning coming to work. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Do they really think this will make things better? In my opinion the only people who should be able to drink when they are 18 are our Military Men and Women. If they can die for our country then they should be able to drink anytime they are in uniform.
Convinced that existing laws aren’t working, state Sen. Hinda Miller has taken a first step toward rolling back the legal age by introducing a bill that would establish a task force to weigh the pros and cons and make a recommendation to the Legislature later this year.

This sure makes perfect sense, NOT! Hey lets raise the driving age to 18 to decrease the number of teen traffic accidents and lower the drinking age to 18. Now our kids will be able to drink and drive at the same time.
