Salsa Verde
Food & Drink March 23rd, 2008In my attempt to become a world class Mexican Chef ( in my own mind ) I think I have taken the first step and perfected my Salsa Verde. Its a combination recipe I have from a Mexican cookbook I got from the Queen for Christmas and the recipe I got from our Mexican neighbor. I did a little tweaking of each one and added a little of my own stuff. I just cannot stop eating this stuff. For those of you fortunate enough to live close by I am sure I will be making this for all our parties.
Next up an Arrachera marinade, aka carne asada or skirt steak. I have a few different ideas, can’t wait till I get to put my grille on the deck and start cooking.

Post that recipe and help a brother out! Sounds good and bbq season is upon us. Just fired it up yesterday for a test run.

I better have some left when I get home from work tomorrow. BTW, it was REALLY good on my Easter Ham also.
I’ll post the recipe, but I gotta write it down first.

Dude.
Post the flipping recipe!
I’m a BIG spice fan, Indian and Thai, but I love the relative simplicity of mexican foods, I wish I could get it ’spicier’ though.
So I’m always on the look out.
