Valentine’s Day Go Bust!
Holidays, WTF February 14th, 2008This morning I had posted on my other blog how my morning went as far as my kids go, and I had mentioned that it was a wonderful day. I knew my husband was going to send me flowers today, no surprise there. And yes he did and yes they were delivered. I was sooooo excited because I had a feeling I knew what kind of roses they were. My favorite and my wedding flowers in my bouquets are the purple roses. I saw a little note stating that they were lavender, so here I am excited to open them, and when I did I wanted to cry, they look like they are 5 days old and they are pink, with 2 stems of some fern looking thing. I see that he ordered them on-line (which I always do) and so I look on the website at FTD.COM and scrolled down to see a beautiful picture of the roses I know he ordered for me, nothing like what I got. So I get on the phone to call and complain because I now know how much he paid for these flowers and there is no way I am going to let him pay good money for roses that he didn’t order. Well of course all circuits are busy, fine, I go on-line and send them an email and I printed it as proof. I feel so bad that here my husband wanted me to have the roses I love only to be upset at the flower shop who sent me last weeks roses. I was near tears when I looked at them, of course the twins think they are nice (what do they know,lol)
But I just want my husband to know that I do not hold this against him at all. He had good intentions and I love him very very much. I just feel bad and yet I am pissed at that flower shop. I hope these people have the balls to call my house cause I am real going to let me have it.

Woman, if you don’t let into them with the fury of a thousand wives then I will be sadly disappointed in you. I hope they call, because that would be a most EXCELLENT blog post. BTW, kudos to the husband unit for knowing your favorite flowers. Its the little things, my dear, the little things. But you already know that.

Oh trust me dude I will go off on them like I have never gone off on anyone( and that includes my ex husband!). Seeing how much money my husband spent on those flowers gets me so mad, I wouldn’t spent $10.00 on them, that is how bad they looked.

Hey Terancedubya!
I got a refund on my flowers! I was on the phone for 30 minutes just waiting for a customer service rep to answer. My hubby asked me if I put on the sweet charm and I laughed, what sweet charm? I told the guy I received flowers from my DH and when I opened the box I was near tears because the flowers looked like they were dying and had to be 5 days old,I also told him that I wanted a refund before he could say anything else. He did mention when I finally let him speak that he has never received this amount of calls before he on how horrible flowers were beening received. Well I don’t care about other calls I just want my husband’s credit card to be reimbursed.
