Our Daughters First Valentine!
Holidays, Kids February 14th, 2008Awe! is what I said when I opened the door my “the big one” as she got home from school. A guy named Juan asked her if she wanted a ride home, she said no that’s ok and he said no you need a ride home, so she said ok fine I will meet you outside I have to run to my locker. When she got to his car she noticed that there was a big red bear and flowers in the front seat. He smiled at her and said Happy Valentine’s Day. They not only go to school together but he works at that Taco Hell place as well. I met him 2 days ago and he seems real nice, he is going to college (plus) and he is also wants to be with the FBI and is going with the Will County deputies a few weekends a month for training that will count towards his college degree. He sounds like he really knows what he wants out of life (another plus). I teased M and she laughed and told me to stop, lol
I was happy to see that someone else besides the loser she talked to on the phone for two years is showing her some attention. I will keep you posted if anything should blossom.

Okay, so I finally got a chance to read your “about” page to realize that your daughter is 17. Holy Christ. At this point, I am extremely secure in the fact that I am my daughter’s only love (so far). I can only imagine the level of restraint you must have. I’m ready to break a 2 year-old’s neck because he wants to share some juice at the park, let alone a 17 year old with a car and some candy. Damn. Well, on that note, hello, and I will be saturating you all’s blog with bad comments forever.

LOL, dude that is so funny! Welcome to our blog, I hope we don’t bore you to much.
2 years old huh? Wow they are starting mighty early. Oh I am very strict with my kids, but this boy seems real nice and she has never had a boyfriend, unless you count a long distance relationship that I was so happy to hear was over. I know I have to let her go (sooner or later) and trust me it is so hard to let go, you think you have it hard now, it’s a piece of cake I would trade with you anytime. It’s sad to know that soon my first born will leave my nest to explore on her own.
