Bill Proposed to Lower Drinking Age to 18

Friday, February 29th, 2008

I hear about this on the radio this morning coming to work. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Do they really think this will make things better? In my opinion the only people who should be able to drink when they are 18 are our Military Men and Women. If they can die for our country then they should be able to drink anytime they are in uniform.

Convinced that existing laws aren’t working, state Sen. Hinda Miller has taken a first step toward rolling back the legal age by introducing a bill that would establish a task force to weigh the pros and cons and make a recommendation to the Legislature later this year.

You can read the entire article here

This sure makes perfect sense, NOT!  Hey lets raise the driving age to 18 to decrease the number of teen traffic accidents and lower the drinking age to 18. Now our kids will be able to drink and drive at the same time.

Jason Yeager, Robbie Carrico, Alexandrea Lushington, Alaina Whitaker.  I cannot believe I have to watch Danny Noriega again next week.  Please America STOP voting for him.

American Idol Top 20 Guys & Girls

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

I will keep this short for the people who could not really give 2 craps about this show.  I still cannot believe I have been sucked into it like a mindless idiot.  I will most likey stop watching and writing about it once the people I want to see out are gone and the eye candy is gone.

So here it is:

This freak Daniel Noriega once again he was brutal and seriously needs to go home.  Just looking at him makes me cringe.

Jason Yeager, WTF was he doing up there.  I thought I danced bad.  Well actually I KNOW I dance bad, that is why I DON’T DO IT ON TV.  The singing was painful to listen to and the dance was worse.

The 3 Davids, David Archuleta, David Cook and David Hernandez did nice jobs, with Archuleta giving the best performance.  Robbie Carrico also gave a good performance.

Luke Menard, this guy should give up the singing and get into acting and get on to a Soap.

I think Brooke White gave the best performance of the women. While my semi favorite, only because she is a rocker, Amanda Overmyer picked a Kansas song that was just not a good fit for her and suffered for it.

The eye candy Kady Malloy and Kristy Lee Cook, were just OK, hopefully good enough to get them through.  Kady needs to sing a slutty Brittney song.

Wrapping up, GO HOME DANNY NORIEGA.  Please I hope noone votes for him.  Sorry it was longer than I expected.

ANGRY!

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

As I write this post one of my cousins is losing her husband. The doctors have told her that he has only a few hours left to live. She is only 38 years old he is about 40-41. He has been fighting to live for 13 years after finding out he had a brain tumor (cancerous). He has had many surgeries only to have this damn thing grow back. They have two children I cannot remember their ages but they are very young. They have taken their children for therapy sessions to sort of prepare them for this day (we all know that we are never prepared for such a loss), and the eldest whom is a boy told the therapist that he wants to become a scientist so that he can help his daddy. I am angry that this man, whom is a good man, a good husband and wonderful father is not going to see his kids grow up.

Why am I mad some of you might ask? Well I will tell you. I have an ex husband with whom I have two children from and not only was he a horrible husband he has been a horrible father as well.  In our divorce I was the one who wanted him to visit our children as much as possible I did not like that fathers were only able to see their kids twice a month, to me that is crap, so here I was letting him have visitation anytime he wanted and he comes around when he feels like it. My kids have already told me that they really want nothing to do with him, they do talk to him and see him but they are past the point of waiting to hear from him. I do not understand why life can be so cruel to those that do not deserve it. And here is he living life to the fullest without a care in the world. This is what angers me, for he is taking life for granted while R struggled to fight for his life and today he has finally lost that battle. These poor children are being robbed of their father and of their life with their daddy, this is why I am so angry.

I hope that Roger goes peacefully and that GOD will guide my cousin and her children throughout their lives, may GOD be their strength through this horrible time in their lives. May GOD Grant Roger eternal life.
