The Queen and I were arguing about something last night, I am sure this will re-spark her fire again, so if I am posting from the proverbial dog house the next couple days you will know why.

This week a Chicago news reporter died in a snowmobile accident, where alcohol was involved.  This next part is the issue we disagree on. The person driving the snowmobile was his long time best friend and his blood alcohol level was way past the legal limit, they hit a tree and the reporter died and his friend lived.  His friend was arrested and is going to stand trial for killing him.  The family don’t want to press charges but it does not matter he is still going to be going to court.

I say if its a situation where its a family member or you are close to the person and the family don’t want to press charges the case should be dropped.  I know if I ever died in an accident and a family member or good friend were drinking and responsible for my death I would not want them to go to jail.  I mean I got into that situation on my own free will so I knew the consequences of my actions.

The Queen on the other hand wants the person sent to jail.  She says they were drunk and they need to pay and don’t care it its her own family or a close friend.  I am sure the Queen will have a long rant on this one.
